Subscription
Subscription Logic
The subscription duration value should be:
- 2 for daily subscription
- 8 for weekly subscription
- 31 for monthly subscription
The new expiry date after the successful renewal charge will be calculated based on the previous expiry date and not the renewal charge date.
Daily Subscription
Scenario 1
- User subscribe on 14th April 2017 with a subscription duration of 2 days.
- The expiry date for the subscription will be on 15th April 2017, end of day (midnight).
- Service Provider can call for renewal from 16th April 2017 onwards until the grace period ends.
Weekly Subscription
Scenario 1
- User subscribe on 14th April 2017 with a subscription duration of 8 days.
- The expiry date for the subscription will be on 21st April 2017.
- If the grace period is set to 5 days, Service Provider can call for renewal charges between 22nd April 2017 to 26th April 2017.
- If the Service Provider tries to call for renewal on 27th April 2017, the renewal request will be denied.
Scenario 2
- User subscribe on 14th April 2017 with a subscription duration of 8 days.
- The expiry date for the subscription will be on 21st April 2017.
- If the grace period is set to 5 days, Service Providers can call for renewal charges between 22nd April 2017 to 26th April 2017.
- If the Service Provider only successfully calls for renewal on 24th April 2017, the new subscription period will be calculated from the previous expiry date and not the renewal charge date. For this case, the new subscription period will be from 22nd April 2017 to 28th April 2017 and NOT FROM 25th April 2017 to 1st May 2017.
Notes
- Please check with BOOSTCONNECT Team on the updated grace period.
- The subscription logic for ROBI is slightly different from other operators.
